Age and Birthday: 19, born September 9 IS 461
Appearance: Average height with a slight build, the first thing noticed about Hugo is his hair; blonde with black tips. His eyes are a striking blue, and he always wears traditional Karayan garb. He perpetually looks 15, due to the powers of his True Fire Rune.
Personality: Quick to temper and action, Hugo very rarely considers the consequences of his actions before jumping into the fray. He will not tolerate attacks (physical or verbal) against his loved ones, and he is fiercely loyal. He has a hard time resisting physical attraction, and if someone (male or female) were to flirt with him, he is more than likely to rise to the flirting.
Weapons: Luft, a Karayan curved sword, as well as several throwing knives. He can also use bow and arrow fairly well, and spears while hunting.
Skills/Special Abilities: Hugo learns quickly. Ironically, he is skilled as both a fighter and a healer.
Other Abilities: Hugo is an excellent Karayan Horse rider. He's generally too fidgety to sit still for very long, although he does enjoy to read.
Runes: True Fire Rune
Weaknesses: Hot chocolate, Stallion, and flirting (as in if someone flirts/shows interest in him, he will rise to the occasion). He is also hot-headed and can be goaded into action.
History (include any modifications for RPG purposes):
Born to Lucia, the Karaya Clan Chief, and an unknown father, Hugo grew up as most Karayan children did. Unfortunately, due to his small size and the constant presence of Sergeant Joe, he was picked on by many of the other children. When he was four, Hugo immediately bonded with a wild griffon, and he and Fubar became fast friends. With his best friend Lulu, Hugo learned the art of war and the skills that would be necessary for him to become Chief of the Clan.
At the start of the Second Fire Bringer War, Lulu was killed during the Zexen raid on Karaya. He and Sergeant Joe set out on a journey for the Flame Champion, but found his wife instead. Hugo accepted the True Fire Rune and took up the mantle of Flame Champion. He led the Grassland, Zexen, and Harmonian forces to victory against Luc and the Destroyers. After the war, he returned to Karaya for a short time as Chief, but he grew restless. With Fubar, Hugo left Karaya in the care of Lucia and returned to Budehuc Castle where Stars from his war, and previous conflicts, were being drawn. The success of the war went to Hugo's head, and it did not take long for Hugo to become the "Castle Bicycle." Unsure of how to deal with his developing feelings for his strategist and friend, Caesar Silverberg, Hugo continued his "bicycle" ways, which soon led him to cross Albert. After a brief encounter with the older Silverberg, Hugo left Budehuc to help Lulu's mother in her mission to take care of orphaned children.
Some time later, Hugo returned to Budehuc Castle, quieter than he was before. He began working in the infirmary as an assistant to the doctor, Mathiu Silverberg. It was during this time that he met Stallion, the elf messenger from the Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars. Their relationship grew slowly and steadily, in fits and starts.
Together, Hugo and Stallion travelled to both Karaya and the rebuilt Elf Village to seek the blessing of their tribes in becoming Life Mates. Both villages gave their blessings, with certain conditions. Along with their joining as life mates, Hugo and Stallion brought new trade prospects to their respective villages.
Hugo and Stallion separated for a short time; Stallion returned to Budehuc, and Hugo to Karaya to set up the necessary arrangements for trading with the elves.
